Research points were specified by Eurostat randomly. The analysis reveal numerical distribution in land cover categories and land use cate-gories. The survey results allowed to define the use of land (land development) on the studied area. The link between land cover and land use allowed to evaluate percentage of points assigned to land use and land cover categories. The final re-sults are presented on the land use and land cover maps. ...
Economic conditions of our country make the land consolidation in Poland is an urgent necessity. Strong competition from EU agriculture imposes on manu-factures obtain ever cheaper products, while better quality. To meet these re-quirements it becomes necessary to organize agricultural space in a rational way so as close as possible to natural habitats. Land consolidation directly transforms the structure of the possession, changing the system of roads, and indirectly affect the use changes, intensification of agricultural production - food and other. Farms, because of poor spatial organization, they lose an average of 20-30% of agricultural income. It is necessary to create effective solutions for conditional very rapid economic and spatial transformation of rural areas, enabling the absorption of EU financial resources and their supporting resources. An excellent means to achieve these objectives is precisely the land consolidation process. This article will present some results the land consolidation procedure on the village of Brzozowy Kat, district Ostroleka, community Czarnia.

Interest in orthophotomap and Digital Terrain Model, not only in Polandbut also in many European Union countries, results from works associated withestablishing a uniform Geographic Information System. Availability of orthophotomap- its presence in internet geoportals - causes that it is used for many purposes. The paper presents possibility of using orthophotomap and DTM to evaluatechanges in the way of agricultural land use, for example, the surroundings ofwater reservoir Domaniów. Orthophotomaps made at various periods of time, based on aerial photographs of 1:26000 scale (panchromatic and color) were usedfor this purpose. Application of various computer techniques allowed the visualizationof the DTM and graphical representation of changes occurring at the presentedsite. ...
The paper presents an natural indexation of the Olawa river precincts city Strzelin, with particular consideration of land management closely adjoin the river. The analysis was based on field research carried out by Ilnickiego and Le-wandowski methods. The research covered approximately 3.5 km long section of the river, which was divided into 15 homogeneous sections. The period of presented research was covered between July and September 2010 and May 2011. Based on respective section of the inventory, an assessment of species diversity and assessment of the degree of naturalness as well as natural river system values. The results indicate a low ecomorphological value of the Olawa river adjoin Strzelin. The River has been classified to the IV category of natural, what means that the analyzed area is fully regulated, and the ecosystem is clearly changed, and the landscape attractiveness is very small. The significant presence of species affinity with nitrogen in the adjoin watercourse areas, which may be related to the agricultural nature of the land adjacent to the river in the municipality of Strzelin. ...
The subject of this article is an analysis of updating lands use in process of preparation and setting out of roads investments. In order to determine the proper range of land use the terms of road and road right-of-way were compared. With an example of selected roads investments from capital city of Warsaw area, it has been investigated the time consumption of changing existing lad use in cadastre. The complex of factors having impact on possibilities of changing former land use on needs for elaboration of serveying documentation and registering by administrative power running cadastre were detarmined . Documents being basis for making change in land use and in cadastre for "roads", independently from investment fullfilment course in investment within range of roads, have been examined. There were presented two solutions , differing in moment of making change of land use long-lasting process of road construction. On the basis of SWOT analysis one identified strong and weak points of each approved solution. Consequences of out-of-date cadastre data have been determined. Land use updating importance for spatial planning was stressed. Regulation cohering was proposed in order to unify land use verification procedure in pursued investment. ...
In the paper sever proportions of changes in land use structure of rural grounds and forest, which took place in the Baligród administrative district villages were introduced in years 1872 and 2009. Researches were based upon descriptive data of the past Austrian cadastre together with the modern cadastre of grounds and building. Such analysis was complemented only by vital statistic, which was appeared in studied villages. Man creates landscape where he leaves in decisive way although can not influence all the analyzed changes. Then, man'sactions in space have resulted in negative effects, which rural geodesy could eliminate by integrate works and the exchange of grounds. ...
The article presents the method for land-use evaluation of the areas located within ecological corridors in order to assess their performance in the ecological network. The method was applied for the ecological corridor located in the central part of the Góra Kalwaria commune, connecting areas of Chojnowski Forest and the Vistula Valley. The existing and future land use of the area was analyzed in terms of maintaining ecological connectivity. The study results enabled to point out several hotspots, where natural connectivity is under threat, mostly on an account of settlement building development and road infrastructure. The evaluation results can be the basis for the verification of the commune' spatial policy in terms of the location and boundaries of ecological corridors. The analyzed corridor in Góra Kalwaria commune enabled to display formal and practical problems associated with the maintenance of ecological corridors. ...
This article describes the results of the statistical analysis of the various forms of land use in the Wroclaw Functional Area. The purpose of this research was to compare the structure of land use in the communities of Wroclaw Functional Area, recognize the changes and the impact of distance from the borders of Wroclaw on that changes. It has been analyzed the land use in rural and urban - rural communities in the years 2012 - 2014. Wroclaw Functional Area is characterized by a wide variety of occurring changes. The biggest transformations relate to the municipalities located in the nearest vicinity of Wroclaw. The exceptions are the communes Wisznia Mala and Oborniki Slaskie. A significant decrease in the agricultural area was recorded in the communes of Dlugoleka and Kobierzyce. In the planning of the development of the Wroclaw Functional Area one should aim to increase the efficiency of the use of already urbanized areas. This type of approach will allow more effective protection of the agricultural and forest areas and limiting of the excessive sprawl of the suburban area of Wroclaw ...
Land use is the part of the earth's surface that is used in a uniform manner. The information on the extent and type of land uses is entered into the register of land and buildings. The data contained in this register are the standardized descriptions of the physical characteristics of the objects in question. Pursuant to the applicable legislation, these data should be kept up-to-date through the processes of updating, modernization and periodic verification of the records. The implementation of the said processes often requires the introduction of land use changes. These changes bring about important consequences, especially in land taxation. This paper is an attempt to outline the basic problems related to the determination of the extent and type of land uses. It discusses, inter alia, the issues of limitations resulting from the plans of forest management and the area permitted to be excluded free of charge from agricultural and forestry production for housing purposes. The author also draws attention to the very general legal regulations regarding the determination of the boundaries of the contours of land use zones in rural and urban areas. The conducted studies also include the analysis of the updatedness of the cadastral data on land ...
The aim of our work on the Kysuce region was to map the incidence of preserved TAL elements, assessment of their contemporary usage and assessment of the threat to them under the influence of anthropogenic and natural stress factors. To do so, it was crucial to understand space and time intersection of TAL existence, the interaction of socio-economic, abiotic and biotic systems of the landscape and assess correctly the contemporary trends of the evolution of society and the threat to the agrarian heritage resulting from it. High proportion of TAL, covering 12% of the whole area, is typical for the monitored region. There were two types of TAL: TAL with dispersed settlement, covering 2261.4 ha of the area (3%) and TAL of arable-land, grasslands, covering 6990.3 ha of the area (9%). In the agricultural country, TAL makes up for important stabilizing elements and their presence increases biodiversity in these regions. It is of high importance to classify TAL as significant landscape features that are important as local bio-centres (because of their benefits for society and the environment). ...
The study presents relations that occur between natural environmental features. They refer to the situation when one of the factors (in this case, lithology, determining attractiveness of the environment as a source of construction aggregates) begins to decide about spatial directions of the area development, as well as the development strategy of a given spatial unit. As a research site, the commune of Lipnica (Bytowski district) was selected, a part of which is located on a outwash plain, rich in sand and gravel deposits. Exploitation of gravel and sand that has been conducted there for over thirty years (bringing for years over 20% of the commune's income) results in significant unfavourable changes in the environment. Transformations of the landform, the lithology of sediment build-ups, water and soil conditions, thus causing the reduction of attractiveness for both agriculture and forestry as well as for potential tourist use, including the development of agritourism. In this situation, the promotion of the nature and beautiful landscape of the commune and the development of agritourism, as assumed in the "Strategy for the development of the commune of Lipnica for the years 2012-2020" are becoming problematic. Some of the aggregate mines are located near lakes ...
