Journal scope

 

Journal Infrastruktura i Ekologia Terenów Wiejskich / Infrastructure and Ecology of Rural Areas is an scientific journal dedicated to researchers, engineers, economists, social scientists and everyone engaged in environmental, agricultural and ecology problems of rural areas, particularly related to the technical infrastructure.


Development of agriculture and urbanization processes on the rural areas have raised the living standards on one hand (roads, sewage systems, water supply systems, etc.), but also the environmental degradation on the other. There is a need to intensify efforts to ensure the proper state of knowledge about these problems, particularly concerning rural areas.


The journal "Infrastruktura i Ekologia Terenów Wiejskich / Infrastructure and Ecology of Rural Areas" publishes original papers on the following subjects:


  • Technical Infrastructure Planning and Problems on Rural Areas, including: water engineering, water resources, problems of water supply system and sewage system.
  • Ecology of Rural Areas, including: climate changes, environmental risk assessment,  waste management, pollutions of atmosphere, water, soil and biological materials, natural resources and renewable energy sources.
  • Sustainable and Multifunctional Development of Rural Areas, including: local development, analysis of land use structure and spatial planning in rural areas.
  • Agriculture and Horticulture, including: the impact of environmental and agrotechnical factors on agricultural production, as well as irrigation problems.
