For many years 3D models representing the terrain surface are used in various fields of science and engineering. The paper shows and describes the pro-cess of data implementation to the DTM, and reviews methods of creating DTM based on the TIN and GRID meshes. The paper presents methods for creating TIN meshes. It also describes the method of height interpolation in raster models based on the measurement data using various algorithms.
