Meteorological conditions have a considerable impact on water relations and the state of forest hydrogenic habitats. Variation in atmospheric precipita-tion and air temperatures are of particular relevance. The presented meteoro-logical parameters obtained between 1986 and 2008 from the meteorological station in Zielonka included: annual and halfyear precipitation sums; drought frequencies; number of days by quantity; mean annual and half-year air tempera-tures; number of days of different temperature categories; duration of the mete-orological growing season; beginning and completion of the meteorological growing season. The study results indicated the occurrence of changes in the values of the above-specified parameters. From 1987 to 2007 the mean precipitation value was 541 mm. In Zielonka nearly 5 droughts in a year and 2–3 during the summer half-years were noted. In recent years, a decrease in days with precipitation below 1 mm and above 20 mm was recorded. The mean annual air temperatures and mean temperatures of the winter and summer halfyears show a rising tendency. This is the result of changes in the number of days with extreme temperatures. In recent years, the number of days with the average temperature between -5.0 and 15.0°C has decreased while the number of days with temperature above ...

The presented meteorological parameters obtained between 1987 (1986) and 2008 from the meteorological station in Zielonka included: annual, half-year and monthly precipitation sums; snow cover characteristic, drought frequencies; number of days by quantity; mean annual, half-year and monthly air temperatures; number of days of different temperature categories; duration of the meteorological growing season; beginning and completion of the meteorological growing season, period without slight frost. Atmospheric and hydrological droughts are characteristic feature of natural environment in Poland. Observed changes of meteorological and hydrological conditions during the last 20-30 years may strengthen this phenomenon. Meteoro-logical and hydrological factors can influence negatively the amount of water ac-cessible for plants needs causing very serious problems for agriculture, especially in these regions of Poland where crop production is the basis of economy. One of such a regions is Wielkopolska. The main aim of this article is the analysis of trends of hydro-meteoro-logical indexes which can influence plant production in Wielkopolska Voivodship. The analysis is based on data from hydro-meteorological stations for growing season (April-September) covering years 1966-2005. The results of the analysis show that changes of precipitation, and as a consequence - runoff, were small and statistically not significant. The trends of the air temperature, sunshine duration and evapotranspiration were positive and statistically significant. As a result of these changes, the values of climatic water balance decreased. Direction of changes of the described indices in the Wielkopolska region indicates that water deficit during growing season will continue to worsen.

The aim of the research was an agro-climatologic assessment of the amount of rainfall on a local scale, mainly aimed to identify trends in their changes and a possible rise in their variability over time. In the studies also we wanted to demonstrate the impact of the amount of rainfall in the region of Bydgoszcz on the yield of some crops. Material for the study consists of rainfall measurements, carried out in a standard way in the years 1981-2010 at the Research Station of the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz. Station is located in the village of Mochle, located approximately 20 km from the city centre ( φ=53013' N, λ=17051'E, h=98.5 m above sea level) in sparsely urbanized and industrialized area. We also used data of the yield of selected crops (potato, barley, corn for grain, legumes), from the production in the region of Kujawy and Pomorze as well as from our own experimental field. It has been shown that the average long-term rainfall during the growing season allows for classifying Bydgoszcz region as the area with the lowest rainfall in Poland. Analyzed rainfalls were characterized by a very high variability in time, resulting in climatic risk ...
This paper presents data on daily precipitation totals from six meteorological stations and the climatic water balance for the stations located throughout Poland in 2011-2015. The following sequences of days without precipitation were distinguished: from 11 to 15 days, from 16 to 20 days, and of more than 20 days. The number of precipitation-free sequences during the growing season in 2011-2015 was highly variable. Over the studied period, there were from 1.0 rainless sequence in Wtelno to 2.4 such sequences in Gołębiów per one growing season. The most frequently occurring were sequences of 11-15 days, while those of 16-20 days were less frequent. In the years under analysis, all of the different sequences occurred most frequently in July, and the least frequently in April. The highest numbers of sequences without precipitation were recorded in the south-east of Poland (Zakalniki, Gołębiów). ...
