Summary:

The paper presents the possibility of applying innovative systems for dewatering and disposal of sewage sludge from sewage treatment, developed in the patent application No. P-387607. The test object is made in full industrial scale in 2012, the private farm in the town of Jastków near Lublin. It was assumed that the main effect of the processes taking place in the test system will reduce the volume and hydrate deposits and their hygienisation. The dewatering system in the study consisted of filling 4 bags of raw sludge from the septic tank one time a week in the period from 24 September 2012 to 21 January 2013, the precipitate was dosed for 18 weeks, and his one-time dose of one bag of about 50 dm3. In total, each of the bags in the period landed about 900 dm3 sediment hydration of 99.5%. During operation of the plant bags weekly ProBio Em dosed at doses of 0, 5, 10 and 50 ml. In total, for the entire duration of the installation for each of the bags were added 0, 90, 180, and 900 ml of ProBio Em. A week after the completion of the dewatering of sewage sludge and applying the preparation ProBio Em in any of the bags was from 5.5-7 kg of hydrated sediments 64,2-78,6%. Thanks to the preparation Pro Bio Em at 1 dm3 dm3 ProBio EM/5000 sediment in the test system can be effective dewatering of sewage sludge to hydrate about 64%, and its physical state was comparable to the wet ground. The tested samples dehydrated sewage sludge with and without the addition of preparation ProBio Em observed no significant differences in the content of the analyzed chemical indicators. None of the tested samples of sediment were not exceeding the permissible concentrations of heavy metals have been detected with Salmonella bacteria, and there was no presence of live eggs of intestinal parasites. It was found that sludge from household sewage after dewatering and disposal in the test system, as Regulation of the Minister of Environment of 13 July 2010 "On the municipal sewage sludge" can be used in agriculture and land reclamation for agricultural purposes. However, research carried out in winter, so they should be treated as preliminary. It is necessary to have further testing during the summer. A test system can successfully be used in practice on a wider scale dewatering and disposal of sewage sludge from septic tanks sewage treatment plant. Thanks to its use can eliminate the need to dumping of sludge from the septic tank using vacuum trucks and thereby reduce operating costs sewage treatment plant.
