Land register is a primary source of information about properties. It is an important element in the process of real estate management, defining the legal status and determine the owner. Land register include information about limited property rights and mortgage. This source is important to notary, surveyor, bank
clerk, investor, property appraiser. This article presents an analysis of the land register structure in Poland and an analysis of the information contained in the traditional land register. It compares also traditional and new land register system in Poland. The article shows the establishment of an electronic land register, with
a particular attention to the content.
